SOUP TO NUTS

About Me

The floors of my best days are littered with great big, earth shaking ideas. But don't let the academic background fool you. I'm more that just a complex thinker. At heart, I'm a doer and a maker. I'm at my best when I'm making difficult ideas ring true for people who are hearing them for the first time.

Videos and Speaking Appearances

The most listened to podcast of The Good Partnership's kick-off season - my conversation with Cindy Wagman about the first things you need to do to up your digital game.
I regularly contribute to Charity Village and love presenting webinars to the charities and nonprofits who rely on the amazing resources that Charity Village provides.

Welcome to everyone joining today's #CVWebinar on digital transformation! We're excited to have @AineMcGlynn from @goodpartnersinc presenting today! We'll be live tweeting as well, so please join in with your comments & questions. pic.twitter.com/ZndTgtNtop

In March, 2018 as a consultant working on behalf of Parker P. Consulting, I was invited to participate in the 2018 United Nations' Commission on the Status of Women. It was a great honour to speak on an illustrious panel with women who have been advocating for the rights of women and girls for decades. My small contribution focused on the role for men and boys in achieving a gender equal future.

In 2013, Framework launched a first of its kind Technology for Social Change program. We developed a methodology for evaluating the sector's use of cloud tools, conducted 500 website audits, hosted workshops, and built the digital capacity of more than 5 dozen non-profits. The work was, and continues to be, an exercise in actioning the trends emerging at the intersection of technology and social good.

In September 2014, my team led a 3-day digital makeover of a lucky non-profit organization. We coordinated all aspects of the program. From the application process to the partnership with Canada Helps, Salesforce and the BMW Foundation, to the needs assessment, current infrastructure assessment, solution prototyping and implementation. And this cool video too!

In 2014, I was invited to speak about the history and interaction of digital culture as part of MCON14. Look out for an epic performance of John Cage's 4'33". Also in discussion: Marina Abramovic and Jay Z.
