I am a certified rock climbing instructor.
This sport has taught me many lessons over the years and is reflected in how I approach my consultation work, teaching, and writing. The practice of making my way up a rock offers new lessons with each ascent, both as a climber and a guide.
The biggest and most transferable lesson is that whether you are scaling a rock, or embarking on a digital transformation, you have to take it one step at a time .
Just as I assess a climbing student’s skills, equipment, and mindset before choosing a route for them, so too will I find exactly the right path to digital enablement that works for your organizations skills, equipment and mindset.
